ShoeBoxes Collection

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Every year during the third week in November, Archdale Friends Meeting is the collection site for the area's Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. In addition to packing a few shoeboxes, Volunteers fill cartons and load trucks with the  shoeboxes that are then sent to the processing centers, the last step before being sent overseas to children.

Meal Packing

Members of Archdale Friends Meeting loves giving back to the community in many ways.  One event, hosted every few years, is our meal packing.  After fundraising for the meals, volunteers from the church and community will then measure the ingredients, scooping them into meal bags, weigh and seal the bags, and box the finished product. The boxes will then be loaded to trucks to prepare for international shipping.
