Over the last couple of years, there has been a need for continued Christian ministry programs within the Meeting and the environs for family, youth and community outreach. In an effort to meet these ministry needs, a position of Director of Family and Community Outreach has been established and approved at Monthly Meeting. Shelley Kirby has accepted this part-time position beginning in 2025. Recent programs in these ministries include Vacation Bible School, AFM Bible Study Groups, Preschool worship lessons and Activities, Quaker Lake Camp, Bush Hill Jamboree and “Out of the Garden” Project food distribution among others.

Archdale Friends Meeting is excited about the continued expansion of these ministries and additional new ones that will be envisioned for Archdale and the surrounding communities.
