Mission Ministries

Friends hold the belief that everyone is a minister and it is our responsibility to care for one another in times of struggle, pain and joy or celebration. Loving and caring brings a joy to the recipient as well as the giver. Come, and let us help one another, build each other up and strengthen the body of Christ.

  • Archdale Friends Quaker Men’s 16th Annual Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Thursday, September 16 at Oak Hollow Golf Course in High Point.  We are going back to the 1:00pm shotgun start.  The fee is $60 per golfer/$240 per team.  We are also looking for hole sponsors and corporate sponsors if you are not a golfer! There will be lots of prizes.  All players must be registered and paid by September 10.  You must pay by check made to Archdale Friends Meeting.  No money or cards will be received at the course.

This year’s tournament honors the memory of Craig Hall, Bob Medford, and Bob Varner.  Proceeds from this event help the Quaker Men support lots of  community projects including:  Run5Feed5, “Christmas for Kids” (Children in need from A-T schools), Open Door Ministry, Relay for Life, Hospice of the Piedmont, CIS, Christmas Shoe Box Ministry, Boy Scout Troop 25, Cheer fund, Friends Disaster Services, Quaker Lake and many, many more.

  • Since 2014 Archdale Friends Meeting has participated in several mission trips to Haiti. Working alongside MOH staff we have worked in villages to provide home repairs, solar lighting, and water filtration systems for hundreds of families. During the week long trips we spend a considerable amount of time getting to know the Haitian people and sharing with them the Good News of Jesus. Some members of the meeting are also participating in child sponsorship which helps to provide daily meals as well as a Christ centered education. If you are interested in participating in a mission trip or sponsoring a child please follow the link below for more information.
